If you choose to connect Apple Health or another wearable source, MEDgevity requests permission before reading supported health data. We use that information to help you and your care team understand trends and personalize your plan. MEDgevity does not sell Apple Health data or use it for advertising.

If you connect Google Health, MEDgevity may read the categories you authorize, including activity and fitness records, health metrics and measurements, sleep records, and a Google Health account identifier used to associate the connection with your MEDgevity account. This information is used only to provide connected-health features, support medical care and health coaching, and maintain the integration. MEDgevity does not sell Google Health data or use it for advertising.

You can disconnect Google Health from Connected Apps at any time. Disconnecting removes the stored connection credentials and stops future synchronization. Previously imported records may be retained as part of your care record for as long as needed to provide care and meet applicable legal and clinical-record obligations. You may contact us to request access to or deletion of eligible information.

Push notifications are used for care, account, and service updates. We design notification text to be brief and generic on the lock screen when a message may relate to your care, with sensitive details available after you sign in to the app.
